AWARDS & RECOGNITION

We don’t do it for the awards… but we’ll take ’em! Thanks to our very talented hosts and partners, plus our incredible in-house team of producers, writers, editors, and musicians, Tenderfoot has been fortunate enough to win several awards for our shows, as well as take home special honors for our company. A lot of hard work is put in by many people, and we are grateful to work with them all.

The New Georgia is the Webby People’s Voice Winner for News and Politics, and winner of Best Politics and Opinion at the inaugural 2021 Ambies!  Thanks to our partners at Crooked Media and Cadence 13, hosts Rembert Browne and Jewel Wicker, and the amazing production teams who worked to document a historic election!

Our first scripted project in partnership with HBO, Raedio and Insecure has won two Webby Awards! Looking For Latoya starring Terri Vaughn, Ray J, Porsha Williams, and Kandi Burruss-Tucker took home awards for Best Fiction and Diversity & Inclusion at the 2021 Webby Awards. Such an honor to break into the fiction space with these amazing partners!

Congrats to the Whistleblower team for winning Best Sports Podcast at the inaugural Ambie Awards presented by The Podcast Academy! The 2021 Ambies, the Awards for Excellence in Audio, honored the best in the business and we are happy to be included in the winners and to also have several other nominations as a company.

Somebody took home the Best Serialized Story in the 2020 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. Shapearl Wells, Alison Flowers, Topic Studios, The Intercept, the Invisible Institute, and iHeartRadio are to thank here. We were happy to be part of the journey.

After 4 years in the business, Tenderfoot was honored at the 2020 iHeart Podcast Awards with an Icon “Audio Pioneer Award.” Thank you so much to the iHeart team for recognizing our contribution to a growing podcast medium.

Up and Vanished took home the iHeart Podcast Award for Best True Crime podcast in 2019. It was the first award given out at the very first iHeart Podcast Awards. Thanks to all of the friends, family, investigators and law enforcement who help tell the stories of these missing victims.

As well as being an honoree, To Live and Die in LA was the Webby People’s Voice winner for Crime & Justice in 2020. The people spoke, and we appreciate them voting for To Live and Die in LA, our first ever Webby win!
