We don’t do it for the awards… but we’ll take ’em! Thanks to our very talented hosts and partners, plus our incredible in-house team of producers, writers, editors, and musicians, Tenderfoot has been fortunate enough to win several awards for our shows, as well as take home special honors for our company. A lot of hard work is put in by many people, and we are grateful to work with them all.

2023 AWARD WINNERS

The Up and Vanished Trial Series has won the Ambie Award for Best True Crime podcast! The trial series marks the end of the six year podcast journey that started with Up and Vanished Season 1. Thanks to the entire Tenderfoot team, our partners and listeners.

The people have spoken and Radio Rental is the Listener’s Choice and Silver Award winner at the inaugural Signal Awards for Most Innovative Audio Experience. Thank you to the team, from the writers, to the music and post production, for creating a great listening experience! And a special thanks to the illustrious Terry Carnation!

The MLK Tapes continues to take home awards, this time at the inaugural Signal Awards, winning Best Documentary and Best History! Thanks to our partners at iHeartRadio, our team at Tenderfoot, host Bill Klaber, and the amazing contributors to this podcast! It’s not everyday you get to look back at history and shatter the lies.

Congrats again to the Whistleblower team for winning Best Sports Podcast, this time at the inaugural Signal Awards! Whistleblower previously won a 2021 Ambie Award for its work looking into the 2007 NBA betting scandal. Congrats to Tim Livingston and the Whistleblower team!

Tenderfoot TV, was honored to work with HBO and Issa Rae’s Raedio, on the Award winning for podcast We Stay Looking. This year we took home another award at the inaugural Signal Awards for Best Limited Series & Specials, Scripted – Fiction. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing cast led by Terri J. Vaughn, and our talented writers who managed to use comedy to shed light on real issues in the media and criminal justice system.

Thanks to host Neil Strauss and the team for taking home Best Writing (Limited Series & Special) at the inaugural Signal Awards for their work on To Live and Die in LA, Season 2. A podcast 4 years in the making, season 2 tackled a case that hit close to home for many involved. #JusticeForElainePark

The Up and Vanished Season 3 has won the Silver Anthem Award, an award that honors mission driven work. Tackling the epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW). Season 4 was recognized as a podcast series that aims to raise awareness for Human & Civil Rights Causes. We are honored.

Our first partnership with Sonoro Media has won Best Spanish Language Podcast at the 2023 iHeart Podcast Awards! It was the first Spanish language podcast that Tenderfoot worked on, and another win for our team on the scripted side! Thanks to the amazing cast, writers, and the team at Sonoro for believing in our partnership.

2022 AWARD WINNERS

Season three of Up and Vanished has won the Webby Award for Best Crime & Justice podcast! It’s the first Webby for the hit franchise with over 400 million downloads. Thanks to our partner Cadence 13, Payne Lindsey, producer Mike Rooney, and the entire Tenderfoot team.

The MLK Tapes took home the 2022 Webby Award fo rBest Limited Series! Hosted by Bill Klaber, the podcast revisits the plot to kill Dr. King and was made possible by the amazing investigative work of William Pepperover several decades. Thanks to our partners at iHeartRadio!

The team behind We Stay Looking, a partnership between Tenderfoot TV, HBO, and Issa Rae’s Raedio, won the Webby Award for Fiction (Scripted) podcast! With an amazing cast led by Terri J. Vaughn, We Stay Looking,  used comedy to shed light on real issues in our system. Congrats to the team!

2021 AWARD WINNERS

Gaining Ground: The New Georgia is the Webby People’s Voice Winner for News and Politics, and winner of Best Politics and Opinion at the inaugural 2021 Ambies!  Thanks to our partners at Crooked Media and Cadence 13, hosts Rembert Browne and Jewel Wicker, and the amazing production teams who worked to document a historic election!

Our first scripted project in partnership with HBO, Raedio and Insecure has won two Webby Awards! Looking For Latoya starring Terri Vaughn, Ray J, Porsha Williams, and Kandi Burruss-Tucker took home awards for Best Fiction and Diversity & Inclusion at the 2021 Webby Awards. Such an honor to break into the fiction space with these amazing partners!

Congrats to the Whistleblower team for winning Best Sports Podcast at the inaugural Ambie Awards presented by The Podcast Academy! The 2021 Ambies, the Awards for Excellence in Audio, honored the best in the business and we are happy to be included in the winners and to also have several other nominations as a company.

2020 AWARD WINNERS

After 4 years in the business, Tenderfoot was honored at the 2020 iHeart Podcast Awards with an Icon “Audio Pioneer Award.” Thank you so much to the iHeart team for recognizing our contribution to a growing podcast medium.

Somebody took home the Best Serialized Story in the 2020 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. Shapearl Wells, Alison Flowers, Topic Studios, The Intercept, the Invisible Institute, and iHeartRadio are to thank here. We were happy to be part of the journey. 

As well as being an honoree, To Live and Die in LA was the Webby People’s Voice winner for Crime & Justice in 2020. The people spoke, and we appreciate them voting for To Live and Die in LA, our first ever Webby win!

2019 AWARD WINNERS

Up and Vanished took home the iHeart Podcast Award for Best True Crime podcast in 2019. It was the first award given out at the very first iHeart Podcast Awards. Thanks to all of the friends, family, investigators and law enforcement who help tell the stories of these missing victims.
