PRODUCTION INTERN
Role Description: The Production Intern will work hands-on with the Producers behind Tenderfoot’s biggest shows.
*Must be local to Los Angeles*
Responsibilities Include:
- Working directly alongside one primary show producer, focusing primarily on production support for 1-2 shows, but will have the opportunity to assist with other shows as needed.
- Reviewing, noting, and/or tagging interviews and recorded episode content for easy editing
- Some audio editing, such as making basic cuts or consolidating recorded interviews for multi-use purposes
- Task management and internal operations– confirming that projects are being tracked accurately in shared team workspace
- Assisting with production or delivery of marketing assets to marketing and social teams for the promotion of shows
Desired Qualifications:
- At least basic experience with audio editing software, Audition or ProTools.
- Personal experience creating or editing story and interview-oriented shows
- Proficiency with Dropbox and Google suite
- Organized and strong time and task management
- Enthusiasm for the creative opportunities of audio-based content
- Potential interview prep and research skills
- Fundamental writing skills and a desire to learn more
Employment Details:
- This is a paid internship.
- 6 months
- 20 hours per week
- $1500/ mo

MARKETING INTERN
Role Description: The Marketing Intern will have a tremendous opportunity to help develop and grow the Tenderfoot TV brand and presence online. A familiarity with true crime and journalism podcasting is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with our marketing partner to track weekly social posts and brainstorm ideas as well as larger strategic campaigns
- Communicating with teammates and marketing team to make sure that all marketing efforts are tracking correctly toward show release
- Creating and brainstorming content for marketing efforts including websites, newsletters, multiple social media handles, conventions, etc.
Qualifications:
- Strong written communication skills
- Must have a passion for podcasts, storytelling, or the audio industry
- Must have strong writing skills, familiarity with social media platforms and best practices, and ability to adapt voice to match Tenderfoot TV’s brand.
- Ability to work collaboratively and excel in project management, and maintain flexibility to shift between projects and adapt to new shows and stories.
- A knack for creativity and sense for online engagement and marketing techniques
Some design experience and proficiency a plus (or willingness to learn) programs such as Canva, Headliner, Adobe Premiere, and or Mailchimp - Familiarity with Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
- Interest or experience in online Community management a plus

- This paid internship is part-time (~20 hours per week).

Pre-Production INTERN
Role Description: The Pre-Production intern’s role will be integral to the early development of our shows, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, research, and journalistic integrity.
This person should be highly detail-oriented, organized and thorough, collaborative, creative and willing to learn new skills and explore new working styles and processes.
*Must be local to Atlanta*
Responsibilities include:
- This intern will work closely with a Producer and will be assigned primarily to one – two shows, though they may be expected to contribute to the research and development of additional shows as needed.
- They will assist the Producer in the initial research and development of show content, helping set interviews of potential guests, tagging/noting recorded interviews, and generating transcripts.
- Prepares & delivers reports as required
Qualifications:
- Strong written communication skills
- Very comfortable with using organizational databases such as Google Sheets
- Past research work experience (including previous intern experience or advanced coursework)
- They should excel in project management and collaboration, and maintain flexibility to shift between projects and adapt to new shows and stories.
